When you are trekking in the dark, your hands need to be free to hold trekking poles or keep your balance on rocky paths. Using a phone flashlight is unsafe and impractical. This headlamp is designed specifically for navigating the campsite, using toilet tents, organizing your backpack inside a dark tent, walking safely to the dining area, or eating your dinner without having to hold a torch. (Note: You must bring 3 AAA batteries as they are not included. You can carry them back with you after the trek.)
